I saw them again. Last night while EX was in my bed, i heard a loud bang. The neighbouring house went up in flames. This guy was running around naked inside, in flames. We all gathered in the yard, and someone came up with the idea of throwing a barbecue, “since we’re all here”. I had a beer in my hand and bad vibes coming from my left. Next thing I know, I was sitting with Them. I don’t know how, but I knew it was them. So when they all got up to leave together, I knew bigger badder louder things were following in their path. I grabbed EX’s hand and we slipped out through the crowd.
